ResourSEAs SrL is recruiting an Innovation Manager. This is a full-time, permanent position, with a competitive salary that gives the opportunity to the right candidate to lead the company’s activities during an exciting period of growth.
Annual gross salary will be in the range of 30.000-40.000€, depending on qualifications and experience.
Provisional starting date: 1st of June 2020.
Location: The selected candidate will be working from the ResourSEAs offices in Palermo, Sicily (Italy). Some
national and international travel will be required.

Job Overview: The Innovation Manager will build and manage a small team of people, leading the activities
of ResourSEAs within international research projects, in which the ResourSEAs technology will be
implemented on a prototype scale. The main focus will be on the production of magnesium compounds from
waste brines. The Innovation Manager will also establish relationships with end-users, ensuring that the final
products meet their requirements and will develop a strategic plan towards building a scaled-up production
plant and providing the products to the market.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Innovation Manager will have a varied role, adapting to day-to-day requirements. Some of the
responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– project management;
– recruitment and management of team members;
– design, commissioning and testing of pilot units for reactive crystallisation;
– drafting patent applications;
– building and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers;
– participating at events and trade fairs;- fund raising;
– support of administrative activities and establishment of standard procedures associated with
managing the team and the office.
Qualifications:
Candidates shall hold a first-class master’s degree in one of the following sectors of Engineering:
– Chemical Engineering;
– Environmental Engineering;
– Mechanical Engineering;
A PhD in any engineering-related field is preferred.
Work Experience:
At least 2-3 year’s previous work experience is required in the field of chemical and process engineering,
design & prototyping activities or R&D in new technologies and international collaborations.
Experience in managing a team is preferred.
Language requirements:
The candidates should be fluent in English (both spoken and written)
Proficiency in Italian is preferred.
